College History

This college was established as an Intermediate College at Madrissa Road, Quetta Cantt by Cantonment Board Quetta in 1969. The college began with only Pre-Engineering group under the affiliation of FBISE Islamabad.

All over Pakistan, the administrative control of Cantt Board Educational Institutions was handed over to Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantt / Garrisons) Directorate Rwp on September 10, 1977.

Pre-Medical group was introduced in the year 1977. Later on, in the years 1984 and 1992 respectively, Humanities and Science General / ICS groups were added.

This college has the status of being the first ever college of Balochistan province to be affiliated with FBISE, Islamabad.

The college was upgraded as a Degree College with Bachelors of Arts and Bachelors of Science under the affiliation of University of Punjab, Lahore in 2001.

The BA/BSc classes were replaced with Advanced Diploma in Arts & Science (ADA & ADS) in 2017 which continued from 2017 to 2020.

Later, the ADA/ADS program was replaced with BS program in the year 2021. Now, the college is running BS program under the affiliation of National University of Pakistan.
